Four years ago, I quit my job in Chicago and moved to Boulder, Colorado. I went from being overworked and underappreciated to enjoying a delightful work/life balance in an environment of trust and autonomy. About a year later, I found myself freelancing and self-employed, working harder, making more money than ever before, and loving the freedom and flexibility.
Around this same time I walked away from a toxic relationship. As I rebuilt my life from the ground up, I found healing and self-love in the mountains of Colorado. I put myself first and began to realign with my deepest desires, asking the question, “what do I want?” I wanted to travel the world and devote my life to something more meaningful, but I wasn’t quite sure yet how I’d make it happen.
In December 2018, I put my stuff in storage and started traveling full-time. And I’ve been on the move ever since. I’ve learned how to balance travel with career, manage my health and wellbeing, and build a dream life for myself.
In March 2020, as COVID-19 brought the world to a standstill, I found myself deeply depressed. I had all I’d dreamed of, yet I was still searching for greater purpose and meaning. I lacked passion for my career, and it was clearly time for a change. With the help of family, friends, a solo road trip, my business coach and some potent plant medicine, I realized my calling to help others find joy through a greater understanding of and appreciation for their true selves.
